Venture Mentoring Service of Rhode Island (VMS of RI) provides experienced and motivated volunteers who give free unbiased, business advice and guidance to entrepreneurs with ventures in Rhode Island. It is built upon the successful MIT VMS model that has been adopted by more than 80 educational and economic development organizations in 16 countries. The goals for VMS of RI are:

1. Enhance, grow, and improve the entrepreneurial talent pool in Rhode Island.
2. Enhance the opportunity of a venture’s success by providing them with quality unbiased advice.
